• How it works. The SAVE tab now has a How it works plate next to Privacy · Licenses. It opens the guide in your browser: a walk-through, with pictures and test tones, of why the same headphones sound different to every ear and how the sweep finds the peaks that bother you.

• Import EQ files. IMPORT on the SAVE tab now opens EQ files from Equalizer APO, AutoEQ, REW, Squiglink and Wavelet, not only EQ Sweep backups. You don't pick the format - EQ Sweep recognizes it and makes a new profile from the file.
• GraphicEQ files from AutoEQ or Wavelet are turned into up to 10 bands that follow the same curve. When the match is loose, the message says it was approximated.
• A file with more than 10 bands keeps the 10 that change the sound the most.
• Fixed: in the export menu, SAVE FILE and COPY always wrote the Equalizer APO text, even with WAVELET or BACKUP picked. Now you get the format you chose.

EQ Sweep is now on Google Play.

• With TalkBack on, changing the frequency now stops the automatic sweep, the same as touching the tape.
• Saving a profile now works after you change only the level, the frequency or the START, TOP and END marks, so the saved profile and its JSON copy keep them.
• If the installed Contour is too old to take the profile, the SAVE menu now says it may need updating instead of calling it not installed.

• On some Android 13 devices the Sweep screen stayed black. Fixed.
• On short screens, like the FiiO JM21, the whole app is drawn a little smaller, so every key fits without scrolling.

• Send to Contour. On the SAVE tab, pick a saved profile, tap EXPORT, then CONTOUR. Contour opens and asks to import it - then HOLD TO SEND puts it on your Protocol Micro, Protocol Max or FiiO KA15. Bands that are off or at 0 dB stay behind.
• No Contour on your phone yet? EQ Sweep tells you. Get it at contoureq.app/install.
• The export menu is three columns now, with no BACK key - the back gesture closes it.
• TOP has to lie between START and END now, so a new band lands where you marked it. A TOP just outside snaps to the edge. Idea from u/freestyler7 on Reddit.
• EQ Sweep stays upright when you turn the phone - sideways, the keys used to slide under the tab bar.

• Auto-sweep. Two new keys under PLAY glide the tone down or up on their own. Tap the same key again for 4 speeds, the other one to reverse, hold to stop. Idea from u/Cassietgrrl on Reddit.
• Delete several profiles in a row without a popup each time. Idea from u/freestyler7 on Reddit.
• New bands get rounded frequencies (1032 Hz becomes 1030 Hz). Idea from u/freestyler7 on Reddit.
• “Unsaved changes” shows only after real edits.
• STOP cuts the tone almost instantly, and the tone never gets louder than your LEVEL.
• AUTO preamp is no longer capped at -12 dB.
• Backup and import fixes.
